Hi, I'm Anouschka, wife, mom, entrepreneur, and Jesus is my Lord and Savior.
We've lived abroad for 5 years, moved 9 times, always trying to follow God's call.
We've resided in the USA, Germany, the Middle East, and the Gulf. Our hearts beat especially for the region where there is often unrest and where Jesus still wants to touch many hearts.
My husband and I have a cross-cultural marriage; our children are growing up bilingual. I find peace in the beauty of the desert, and my passion and creative outlet is baking.

This blog grew from a place of pain and hurt.
Yet, I felt that God was urging me to finally create it, even though I didn’t feel worthy or know how to start. I was wondering, how can I minister or encourage others from a place of brokenness? The answer is I can’t.
But HE can. I am on a journey - a journey of healing, transformation, and hope because of what Christ did for me on the cross. I am not the one who produces fruit. He is the one. And I want to be his vessel.
God says in Isaiah 43:19, “Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.“
This verse offers profound hope. It’s the underlying theme and purpose of this blog.
